About this role
As a Video Editor Intern, you will work closely with our team to edit and enhance video content for various platforms. While this position is currently unpaid, there is potential for it to become a paid role. You will gain hands-on experience in video editing and have the opportunity to build your portfolio with original projects, receiving real credit for your work.
Objectives:
Developing proficiency in video editing software: Dedicate time to learn the ins and outs of video editing software. Take online courses or tutorials to improve editing skills.
Editing video footage: Work on editing projects under the guidance of experienced editors. Seek feedback on edited videos and make improvements based on suggestions.
Collaborating with the team: Attend meetings to understand project requirements and contribute ideas for editing concepts. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure edits meet project goals.
Building a portfolio: Document all editing projects and organize them into a professional portfolio. Include a variety of projects that showcase different editing styles and techniques.
Incorporating graphics, effects, and music: Experiment with adding graphics, effects, and music to video projects. Study industry trends and best practices for incorporating these elements effectively.

Proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Experience editing videos for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, social media).

location description:
Please note that we currently do not have a brick-and-mortar location. Most of our work is done remotely, and we will provide a call sheet for filming days with specific locations.
We do, however, hold cafe meetings twice a week. It is essential to arrive on time for these meetings as they are important for team collaboration and planning.
