Franchester Williams Media was conceived in 2012 when its owner, Franchester Williams, attended the ICB media school in downtown Chicago. Seeking to deepen her knowledge of filmmaking, she subsequently enrolled at Columbia College Chicago, where she forged valuable connections and advanced her journey.

During her academic pursuits, she interned at Quriosity Productions, Illinois Film Office, and Skylight TV, further enriching her experience in the field.

In 2019, an opportunity arose for her to establish her own media company, which she seized.

Despite facing challenges, such as opening her first studio space in 2020, just a week before the shutdown occurred, she has remained resilient in pursuing her passion for media and filmmaking.
