Photography intern
About this role
As a Photographer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, capturing compelling visuals that tell a story. While this is currently an unpaid position, it has the potential to evolve into a paid role. You will gain valuable experience in photography and build your portfolio with original projects, receiving real credit for your work.
Objectives:
Developing a strong understanding of photography techniques and concepts: Attend workshops, online courses, and seminars on photography fundamentals. Practice regularly and seek feedback from experienced photographers.
Capturing high-quality images: Work closely with the team to understand the brand's aesthetic and storytelling goals. Use professional equipment and experiment with different shooting techniques.
Collaborating with the team: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for photo concepts. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure concepts are executed successfully.
Building a portfolio: Document all photography projects and organize them into a professional portfolio. Include a variety of styles and subjects to demonstrate versatility.
Learning to use professional equipment and editing software: Study user manuals and online tutorials for the equipment and software used in the industry. Practice editing photos using different software to develop proficiency.

Proficiency with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
Experience with professional cameras and photography equipment.
Strong understanding of photography concepts and techniques.
Creative eye for composition and storytelling through images.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

location description:
Please note that we currently do not have a brick-and-mortar location until March 2025. Most of our work is done remotely, and we will provide a call sheet for filming days with specific locations.
We do, however, hold cafe meetings twice a week. It is essential to arrive on time for these meetings as they are important for team collaboration and planning.
